Parker Las Vegas Convention 2009

The Parker seminars are probably  known as being the largest and most impressive conference chiropractic has to offer.  This year, the Las Vegas convention was held from Jan 15 – 17 and was also my first opportunity to attend such an event!

The reason the Parker seminars are so impressive is that it has the power to unite the profession through some of the biggest speakers and electrify all present to get back into everything chiropractic; I guess it also doesn’t hurt that it’s in Las Vegas.  I was seriously starstruck by some of these speakers including Dr. James Chestnut and Dr. Patrick Gentempo.  There were also other great leaders in the field including the founders of the Activator and Thompson techniques.  It’s also great to see all of the products relating to chiropractic and health care in addition to hearing all of the latest research.

Over the next several days (maybe weeks), I’ll write more about my experiences at the Parker Convention, all which were good.  It might sound a little sappy, but I’m a little sad that it’s over.  I don’t think I was able to do everything I wanted to in the short 3 days there, and can’t wait until next year when I get to do it all again.
